Get the time bonus

For every five minutes you spend playing, you get some free coins. You start with 50, it increases to 80, and so on.

Therefore, you can earn a considerable amount of money simply by letting the game run continuously on your device while you do other things: connect your phone and let the game run there, making sure to take advantage of the Time Bonus every 5 minutes. Very soon, you’ll have a fortune to spend on card packs!

Invest wisely in card bundles

At first, you won’t have a ton of coins at your disposal, but you should still invest in buying card packs. Each card pack will give you a team in the NBA, which you may already own or which may be new to you.

You use these team cards to update your players’ stats: if you have enough, you can spend some coins and increase the values.

One of the most important player upgrades you can buy in Fanatical Basketball is in the My Team menu.

Tap on the coach and you can spend coins to improve the stats of any of your team’s five positions.

The best news here is that these bonuses stick to your players even if you change your starting team, which is why Coach upgrades are extremely important.

You could also focus on the players you’ll play the most in the game (usually the PG and/or Center/PF) and turn them into real scoring machines.

How to win all your games

Winning your games in Fanatical Basketball isn’t too difficult, thankfully. The game isn’t a realistic basketball simulation, which means you can use a few tricks and shortcuts to win every time. Here’s what you should do:

Always keep a player up front when opponents pass the ball after scoring. Many times, you can simply steal the ball and grab an easy basket.
Don’t pass too often! The passing mechanic is so poor at the game that it’s usually better to just stick with the ball and dribble until you can beat your opponent and score an easy basket.
Go for easy baskets! Dunks are usually the only thing I use to score: not only are they 100% guaranteed to get you points, but you also get some extra coins at the end of the game for every dunk you’ve made.
Ignore defense: I do this in every game I play, and it rarely matters. Just ignore the defense and keep your favorite player up front. If the opponents miss (and they often do), try to pass quickly and get the easy basket and score.
Use your star player. The star player is your best player and the one who seems to get an extra shooting boost since most of the shots he takes will score.

So try to get him the ball and use him as your primary scorer. Dunks, perfectly timed shots… he can really make a difference!
