Just Dance Now – If you’re a mobile gaming enthusiast who ignores the world of console games, you can also do without a console to play a console-quality game in your browser using your smartphone.

Choose a song and hold your phone in your right hand: when the music starts and you see the video, follow the rhythm and start sweating. The game is great entertainment for family competitions and parties.

There are a lot of VIP songs, and the monthly subscription costs $8. Those of you who have the app on consoles will probably skip it, but if this is your first time with Just Dance, you can use the app as your introductory experience and, if you like it, take it a step further or not.

Performance

Now, I’ve had an intermittent issue with the video not showing up in my browser while the music was playing. Others report that the game doesn’t run on Chromecast as advertised. I suppose it’s safe to say that performance issues are present, but they depend on a variety of factors, such as hardware, internet connection speed, planetary alignment, you name it. The bottom line is that, when it works, it’s one of the best party games for friends and family gatherings, both large and small. Considering you can compete against other players online, it’s also very competitive. At the same time, it’s the closest thing to stage dancing you get without embarrassing yourself in front of anyone else, if you prefer to dance alone, just for yourself.

Design

It’s fun, colorful, beautiful, and will teach you stylish moves. The user interface is simple, and it retains the overall feel of Just Dance Now.

The free songs are pretty dated, but as Terminator says, “old, not obsolete.” Whether $8 a month is a worthwhile investment is up to you. It also depends on how well the game works for you.
