We Bare Bears Match 3 Repairs has many similarities to other match-3 style games. The goal is to match 3 of the same vegetables in the field to complete certain tasks you need to complete the level.

Here is a list of the different tasks I’ve found:

History:

One day, the bears discover their cave is surrounded by workers who have wrecked it. When Panda shows them they’ve been living in the cave for a long time, proving they own the place, the workers leave. However, there’s a lot of damage the bears need to repair.

After repairing and decorating their house, they decide to go camping. However, rude campers have left the place filthy, so the bears first have to fix and clean various parts of the campsite. While having fun around the campfire, they accidentally set fire to a nearby food truck park, which a park ranger tells them to clean up.

Many more things happen as you complete or unlock different areas. However, I’m only at level 160, so I haven’t finished the story yet.

CHARACTERISTICS:

• Obtain a certain quantity of a matching type of vegetable.
• Make popcorn by activating the popcorn machine, which will spit out popcorn in all directions when 3 pairs match next to it. Then make a match next to a piece of popcorn.
• Freeing Charlie from the ice by making matches on the ice, which will melt it.
• Saving on stamps by making matches that will turn soil into water if a tile is near water.
• Drop the teddy bears into boxes on the board, making matches underneath or beside them.
• Removal of boxes.
• Catching rabbits moving through the bushes.

There are also obstacles that make the game more challenging, such as moving lilies in the water, boxes that block things, barricades that prevent you from crossing them, portals, etc.

Use Boosters

Fortunately, there are also boosts that can help you complete your tasks. For example, there’s the gauche, a vacuum cleaner that clears a line of tiles in the direction you aim and recharges each time you use a boost earned by making a special match. There’s also the axe, which will remove a tile. Axes can be earned with event winnings, lucky draws, and leveling up.

Additionally, you can also earn boosters by winning events, raffles, and leveling up, or by purchasing them with in-game currency. These boosters can be selected at the start of the level.

You also get boosts from making special matches.

• A pancake can be made by combining vegetables in a square and will remove the four vegetables that its tile touches. It will also remove one additional tile.
• A taco can be made by combining four vegetables. A vertical line will make a vertical taco, and a horizontal line a horizontal one. When you touch it, the line it’s pointing towards will be cleared.
• The burger can be made by combining 5 vegetables in a clear line and will blow up the surrounding tiles when hit.
• Finally, a butterfly can be made by combining 6 vegetables, and when it is swapped with a vegetable, all of the same type of vegetable will be removed from the board.

When you complete a level before you run out of plays, you’ll earn a star (more on that later) and in-game currency, which you can use for boosters, extra lives, extra moves, speed-ups during construction, and extra decorations. If you lose a level, you lose a life. You’ll get a new life every hour or so, up to a maximum of 5. (Unless you’ve earned more by winning lucky events/drawings.)

A level cannot be repeated once it has been completed.

With the stars you earn, you can progress through the story and, therefore, your level. They allow you to complete tasks that will trigger a cutscene. Some tasks take time to complete, others can only be done in multiple steps, and sometimes they allow you to customize the location where the bears are found. In that sense, the game is more similar to games like “Homescapes” than to games like “Bejeweled.”

The tasks can be viewed on the panda’s phone in the bottom left corner; this is also where you can see your level progress. When you finish a level, you’ll receive bonus in-game money, boosters, and lives. Once you complete all the tasks in a given area, the bears will move to a new area.

Finally, there are events and raffles. This is what makes this game unique from a mechanical standpoint. I haven’t seen them used in any other match-3 style game so far. With the lucky raffles, you can spin a wheel with various prizes you can win, or you have to find Charlie under some hidden tiles, which will also give you boosters and free lives.

Events can range from helping Chloe with her homework by completing levels and getting unlimited lives and support from Chloe, to a taco event where you have to make as many tacos as possible during the levels to compete with other app users, etc.
