Give Your Android Homescreen a Different Look

Colorful Circles Instead of Standard App Icons

Ciclo follows a clear design choice. Each icon sits inside a colored circle, with a black symbol at the center. There are no elaborate textures or complicated visual effects to distract from the artwork.

The difference becomes more apparent when you place several icons together. Your original apps may use completely different shapes, logos and color combinations. With Ciclo, supported apps share the same circular format, making the homescreen look more consistent. At the same time, the colored backgrounds keep the arrangement from feeling repetitive.

Set Up Ciclo with a Compatible Launcher

To use Ciclo, you will need a third party launcher that supports custom icon packs. The app provides a dashboard for accessing its available options, while launchers such as Nova Launcher, Lawnchair, Niagara Launcher and Smart Launcher offer ways to apply the icons. Once everything is set up, you can replace the standard app artwork with Ciclo designs through your launcher’s icon settings. The steps differ between launchers, so the process depends on which one you have installed.

Useful Features Beyond the Icon Designs

Request Icons for Apps You Use

You may find that some of your installed apps do not have matching icons yet. Ciclo lets you submit icon requests for apps that are missing from the collection. The developer also releases updates to add more designs, although the availability of a particular icon depends on future updates.

Keep Your Calendar Icon Up to Date

A calendar icon is more useful when it shows the correct date. Ciclo supports dynamic calendar icons for compatible calendar apps, so the date displayed on the icon can change from day to day. You can keep the same circular design on your homescreen while still seeing an up to date date indicator at a glance.
